Lawrence Rivas has an extensive background in law enforcement as a correctional officer with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Lawrence worked with the TDCJ for 10 years prior to entering the oil and gas industry where he has been part of supporting Safety, and Quality services. Lawrence has served in the Oilfield Industry for 12 years. He has maintained numerous amount of certifications and has extensive knowledge in trucking and oil and gas specific to completion services.
Lawrence has a great sense of humor and brings his personal experiences and knowledge to the training classes he conducts. With his personable attitude and extensive personal experiences he will interact with his trainees while allowing them to share their own experiences in a relaxed yet professional manner.
Evelyn Tanguma has a strong background and experience in the medical field. She has been a healthcare worker for 19 years serving her local community both in occupational and general healthcare.Along with Evelyn's other certifications and experience she is a certified DOT Drug and Alcohol Collector.
Her strength with ACT Safety Services lies in her complete and precise knowledge of the OHD Quantifit. Evelyn assists the team by bringing her knowledge and guidance to support our Respiratory Services.
Evelyn is also extremely familiar with operating a spirometer to ensure your employees receive the best results after completion. This is an essential part of the Respirator Fit Test. Her knowledge of calibration and operation ensures a smooth and precise test with limited downtime for employees.
She maintains a great relationship with our healthcare professional who reviews all questionnaires and results.
Evelyn is an integral part of the ACT Safety Services team.
Matthew Contreras has Been a part of the Alice Fire Dept. for 15 years. In that time Matthew has worked his way through the ranks starting at Firefighter, then moving onto Driver/Operator and now Matthew currently holds the rank of Lieutenant.
Matthew Is also a 17 year member of the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Dept. And his current rank at the KVFD is the Assistant Chief.
Matthew Contreras has been a licensed fire services Technician for 8 years. He is also a 2002 graduate of H.M. King High School in Kingsville Texas.
Having Matthew on as ACT Safety Services team has been a great advantage as he is highly skilled and knowledgeable in the area of fire services. His experience and dedication to the industry is invaluable.
