Carlo Tanguma is a native of Alice, Texas. He is a graduate of Alice High School and married to Evelyn Tanguma. Carlo and Evelyn have 5 loving children. He is a dedicated and loving father, and a brother in Christ.
Prior to Carlo’s entry into the oilfield he served a long and rewarding career in Law Enforcement. Carlo’s law enforcement career started out in San Diego, Texas as a patrolman from 1994 to 1999. In September of 1999, Carlo joined the Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department. Carlo climbed the ranks quickly going from a patrolman to Lieutenant of the Narcotics Division. He served in Law Enforcement for 12 years and is still currently licensed.
Carlo Tanguma started his oilfield career in August of 2006, where he worked at Texas Energy and CC Forbes as a Safety Technician. Carlo worked his way up to the Safety Manager position. This position entailed direct supervision and guidance on oil and gas industry requirement plus DOT compliance.
In 2013 he accepted a Job offer as the Safety Director for Supreme Production Services. Supreme Production Services served the oil and gas industry with completion services and later added a few DOT vehicles to their fleet.
2017 brought great blessings in the form of the opportunity to operate a Safety Consulting Company, ACT Safety Services. This was a dream come true!
In 2018 Carlo decided it was time for a change and moved back home where he accepted a job as the Safety Director for South Texas Oilfield Solutions. South Texas Oilfield Solutions is a vacuum truck operation where Carlo oversees DOT compliance and training.
During Carlo Tanguma’s oilfield career he has had an abundance of great mentors that helped him grow within the safety business. He has learned a lot from them and applies his knowledge to the business daily.
